Research summary

Get Shit Done was the original GSD repository by TÂCHES, providing a structured context-engineering and spec-driven workflow on top of existing coding agents rather than implementing a model or editor of its own. Its Node.js package installed commands, agents, hooks, workflow assets and an SDK for Claude Code, OpenCode, Gemini and Codex, with the goal of keeping planning and implementation disciplined across longer development tasks. The repository is now archived and its README explicitly redirects users to GSD Core.

The successor repository describes itself as the community-maintained continuation of this work. This catalogue keeps the original entry because its historical adoption and lineage remain useful when evaluating GSD Core, but it should not be treated as an independently maintained alternative.
