Tessl

Commercial agent-context and skills platform with a first-party installable SDD workflow and registry/evaluation lifecycle.

Overview

Research summary

Tessl currently positions itself as infrastructure for creating, evaluating, distributing and installing agent-agnostic skills and context. Its SDD capability is delivered as a dedicated installable workflow rather than as the entirety of the product. After tessl init, teams can install the SDD workflow; the agent then interviews the user to clarify requirements, writes Markdown specifications under specs/, pauses for stakeholder approval, implements against those specs and verifies that requirements are satisfied.

Tessl's registry and package-management layer can combine that process with versioned documentation and context for libraries and other engineering conventions. This makes Tessl relevant to SDD as a commercial workflow and context platform, but it should not be described as a pure spec-as-source code generator. The core platform is proprietary; no public source repository for the product or SDD package was identified.
