SpeechBrain
A common PyTorch toolkit spanning many speech tasks with reproducible recipes and pretrained interfaces.
Overview
Research summary
SpeechBrain supplies reusable PyTorch components, pretrained interfaces and training recipes for speech and conversational AI. Its scope includes recognition, speaker processing, enhancement, separation and synthesis, allowing researchers to build systems from shared data handling, training and evaluation components. Applications can also consume pretrained models without constructing a training pipeline from scratch.
The project publishes documentation, examples and model integrations through Hugging Face. Its value is the combination of research recipes and application-facing inference building blocks across audio tasks, rather than a single speech model. Toolkit code is Apache-2.0, and datasets and pretrained artifacts have separate provenance.
