SD.Next

Broad model and hardware-backend coverage within an integrated generation and media-processing WebUI.

Overview

Research summary

SD.Next packages generative image and video capabilities into a web interface and server application. It supports multiple model architectures and execution backends, together with workflows for generation, refinement, captioning, upscaling and related image processing. Installation and configuration depend on the selected hardware platform, with documentation covering several GPU and CPU acceleration options.

Developers can run the application locally or integrate its server capabilities with other workflows. The current repository license is Apache-2.0, while individual models, extensions and connected services remain subject to their own licenses and requirements.
