scala-semantic-harness
Combines compiler results and semantic artifacts into explicit, bounded evidence for Scala coding agents.
Overview
Research summary
scala-semantic-harness supplies semantic evidence for coding agents working on Scala projects. Its CLI can collect build and test results, inspect SemanticDB symbols and usages, request bounded presentation-compiler information and reconcile those sources of evidence. A stdio MCP server exposes a selected subset of these capabilities, while agent skills document the integration.
It also offers conservative syntax-based summaries of functional-programming effects. The project is an experimental public alpha: its documentation distinguishes packaged releases from development snapshots and describes limits in compiler, dialect and build-target coverage. It complements the compiler, tests and IDE tooling rather than claiming to replace their correctness checks.
