pyannote.audio

Specialized neural building blocks and complete pipelines for speaker diarization.

10,611 stars

Overview

Research summary

pyannote.audio helps determine which speaker is talking at each point in a recording. Built on PyTorch, it provides neural components for speech activity, speaker segmentation and embeddings, along with pretrained diarization pipelines and training support. Developers can apply a pipeline to audio or adapt model components to their own data.

The library also supports the vendor's hosted premium diarization service, which is distinct from local open-source execution. The toolkit code is MIT licensed. Access conditions and licenses belong to each selected model or service, and some pretrained pipelines require accepting their terms before download.
