OpenVINO

Model optimization and a shared inference runtime across supported Intel and CPU deployment targets.

Overview

Research summary

OpenVINO is an open-source toolkit for converting, optimizing, and executing deep-learning models in deployment environments. It supports model inputs from several frameworks and provides runtime interfaces for applications that need inference without the original training stack. Hardware targets include supported CPUs, Intel integrated or discrete GPUs, and Intel neural-processing units.

The project documents generative AI, vision, speech, and other workloads, with compatibility determined by operators and device support. Its Apache-2.0 toolkit is distinct from optional integrations, pretrained models, and hardware-specific distribution dependencies.
