Agent frameworks

Fantasy

A reusable provider-neutral Go agent library developed as the runtime foundation for Charm’s Crush coding agent.

Overview

Research summary

Fantasy is a Go SDK for applications that need an agent loop with language models and application-defined tools. Developers select a provider and model, define tool functions, configure an agent and invoke it from ordinary Go code. Provider packages include integrations for services such as Amazon Bedrock, Azure and OpenRouter, while an OpenAI-compatible adapter extends the set of usable endpoints.

Charm developed the library to power the Crush coding agent, but the SDK is separately reusable and does not itself provide a complete coding interface. Its README identifies image models, audio models and PDF uploads as unsupported areas at the time of review. The module uses the charm.land/fantasy import path and is Apache-2.0 licensed.
