Data & context

Embedchain

A compact application API spanning ingestion through retrieval, preserved as an archived project.

Overview

Research summary

Embedchain combines ingestion, text splitting, embedding generation and vector-store retrieval so developers can build applications that answer questions over their own data. Its Python API hides much of the pipeline wiring while allowing component configuration. The maintainers archived the project in May 2026 and now focus on Mem0. The preserved repository remains Apache-2.0 licensed and useful for understanding existing integrations, but it is no longer actively maintained. Mem0 is a related memory product rather than a drop-in continuation of every Embedchain RAG feature.
