Research summary
BMad Method models software development as a set of reusable skills, workflows and specialized roles rather than one general-purpose coding prompt. Its modules include product-management, architecture, UX and developer agents, while installation generates skills for agents, workflows, tasks and tools inside supported coding environments. Teams can use thinking workflows to explore, research, challenge and record decisions, then hand settled artifacts into build workflows that implement and review changes.
For larger projects the role-oriented pipeline can preserve PRDs, architecture and story-level work; smaller changes can use a lighter path, with current releases adapting ceremony to the task. The user remains the decision maker at review points. The repository implementation is open source under MIT.
