Inference & serving

BentoML

Combines Python service authoring, inference composition, and reproducible deployment packaging.

Overview

Research summary

BentoML is a Python serving framework for exposing AI models and application logic as online APIs or asynchronous tasks. Developers define services with ordinary Python code and type hints, compose models into pipelines, and package runtime dependencies for deployment. The framework supports serving optimizations such as batching and model composition while allowing custom preprocessing and business logic. Applications can run locally, in generated containers, or through the separately managed BentoCloud offering. The Apache-2.0 repository covers the framework itself, not the terms of the hosted service.
