Research summary
AgentStack helps turn an agent implementation into a service that can be deployed and connected to other application components. The project provides infrastructure around agent execution, including documented communication protocols, model access, storage, authentication, and file-related capabilities. Its purpose is to support operating and integrating agents rather than supply one fixed coding assistant for every repository.
Developers bring the agent logic and configure the services and providers appropriate for their environment. Local or self-hosted operation can change where components run, but remote models and integrations remain separate network and credential decisions. The framework should not be read as a guarantee that every deployed agent is isolated or that every workflow is reliable without configuration and testing.
